Job Description

A position for a Research Associate (RA) is available in the research group of Dr. Rahul Banerjee, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER-Kolkata. The research work involves the synthesis of Covalent Organic Frameworks and their methane uptake studies.

Title of Project: Bulk synthesis & discovery of Covalent Organic Frameworks with remarkable chemical stability for methane storage.

Remuneration: Maximum up to Rs. 35,000/- per month.

Tenure: Initially for a period of 6 months, extendable for a further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent.

Basic Eligibility Criteria: PhD completed or thesis submitted.

Age Limit: Must not be over 35 years as on 23rd December, 2019 which can be relaxed for certain reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of India. Relaxation in age, educational qualification or experience may be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates.
