Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM along with attested copies of certificates for one position of Research Associate (RA-III) @ Rs. 54000/- P. M. fixed + 16% HRA provided in the scheme “Centre of Excellence on Germplasm enhancement for crop architecture & defensive traits in Brassica Juncea (L.) Czern & Coss, CSS-79 (PC-6139) Part-A” in Oilseed Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
Educational Qualifications: B.Sc. in Medical/Agriculture/ Biotechnology/Horticulture with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
M.Sc. in Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics/Cytogenetics/Microbiology/Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/Plant Pathology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00basis of 65% marks with atleast one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.
Note-2: Five years experience of research, teaching and design and development after M.Sc. is required for M.Sc. candidates whereas two years post Ph.D experience is required for Ph.D candidates (As position is RA-III).
