Position:
i. Research Associate (Metals, Cement etc)
ii. Research Associate (Capital Goods, Infra etc)
2. Job Description / Responsibilities:
i. Be part of a well reputed established research team serving domestic and foreign institutional investors, and other relevant investor segments
ii. Assist the analyst in covering companies, sector/s and macro economy, and tracking news flow for companies and sectors
iii. Assist in financial modeling for companies, developing and maintaining industry database and valuation sheets
iv. Assisting in equity research reports such as Initiating Coverage, Quarterly updates of companies, Event driven reports, Thematic reports, etc.
v. Interact with sales team as required for communicating research ideas and handling queries
vi. Handle/ assist in servicing investors
3. Job specific skills: Applicants should have –
i. Strong accounting, analytical and forecasting skills
ii. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel - Specially in modeling / spreadsheet)
iii. Well versed with use of databases such as Bloomberg, CMIE, Reuters, Factset, etc.
iv. Excellent oral & written communication skills
v.Techniques/ Financial Modeling
vi. Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
4. Educational Qualification: Post Graduate, with preference for MBA /CFA / CA or equivalent from recognized Universities in India/overseas. Valid NISM Series XV certification required.
5. Minimum Experience: 1-5 Years
6. CTC Offered: Compensation will not be limiting factor for the right candidate and will be discussed on a case by case basis.
