Job Description
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Research Associate to work on the following project accepted for funding by the Household Finance Practice at Dvara Research, under the supervision of Rishi Kumar, Sudatta Banerjee and Archana Srivastava, Department of Economics and Finance, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
Title of the project: “Urban Low-Income Households’ Savings: Understanding Issues and
Challenges in Indian Context”
Name of the post: Research Associate (Full-time)/No. of posts: Two (Temporary)
Fellowship amount: Rs. 30,000 per month (Consolidated)
Eligibility requirements: Post graduate in any economics/ social science discipline.
Strong command over MS Word, MS Excel and Statistical software.
Desirable: Good command over data analysis and econometrics, statistical software (STATA, R, Eviews or others), good writing skills. Candidates with prior experience in secondary research, primary research, data cleaning and data analysis. Good communication skills.
Proficiency in English, knowledge of Telugu though not mandatory will be an added advantage
