Research Associate-I /JRF Chemistry jobs recruitment in Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET)
Project entitled: “Novel Nanostructured High Performance Anode Materials for High Energy Na-ion Batteries” at C-MET, Pune.
1. Research Associate – I/ 1 Post
Qualification: Ph.D In Chemistry / Physics / Nanotechnology / Materials Science.
Pay Scale: Rs. 36000
2. JRF / 1 Post
Qualification: First class in M.Sc in Physics / Chemistry / Nanotechnology with NET/GATE or Post graduate Degree in professional course (M.Tech in Metallurgy /Materials Science / Electronics and Telecommunications / Chemical Engineering).
Pay Scale: Rs.25000/- per month (Consolidated) plus HRA for the first two years and Rs.28000/- per month (consolidated) plus HRA for the third year on up grading to SRF.
Registration for Walk-in-Interview: Between 09.00 Hrs. to 10.00 Hrs.
Only short listed/screened-in candidates will be allowed for attending interview.
Age: For RA-I not exceeding 35 years and for JRF not exceeding 28 years as on 14/02/2018.
Application Fee: Research Associate-I is Rs. 100/- and Junior Research Fellow is Rs.50/- only by demand draft in favour of C-MET, Payable at Pune. No. application fee for SC/ST and Woman Candidates. Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology is a Scientific Society Registered under Ministry of Information Technology, with the main objective to establish technology strength in electronics materials for the present and future industrial requirement. Presently C-MET has three laboratories at Hyderabad, Pune and Thrissur. The high purity materials are the basic building blocks of electronics technology and therefore C-MET, Hyderabad is involved in development as well as scaling up of operations for production of high purity metals, alloys, special dopants and semiconductor materials. The gamut of operations required in purification process includes hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, vacuum metallurgy, Electro-metallurgy, zone refining, electron beam melting etc.
