Research Associate/ JRF job opportunities in Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) on
temporary basis

Adaptive numerical methods and their
convergence for the efficient numerical solution of singular boundary value
problems
Department : Mathematics
Research Associate (RA)
Qualification : Doctorate (PhD) in Mathematics
Fellowship : Rs. 36000/ per month. In addition, HRA is
admissible as per the norm of CSIR
Junior Research
Fellow (JRF)
Qualification : Candidate
should have First Class (C.P.I or C.G.P.A. greater than 6.75 on a 10 point
scale) M.Sc/M.A. in Mathematics with GATE/ CSIR-UGC JRF/NET qualification and
have knowledge in Numerical Analysis and programming languages such as
C/C++/FORTRAN/ MATLAB.
Fellowship : Rs. 25000/ per month for first two years and
Rs. 28000/ per month. In addition, HRA is admissible as per the norms of CSIR.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for JRF and RA shall be 28 and 35 years respectively. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women candidates.
