Project Title  :  Development Of Hilsa Shad Predictive Capabilities in the North-Western Part of Bay of Bengal (Components : In-Situ Sampljng, RS & GIS ,Validation)

Research Associate (Purely Contractual)

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  : Ph.D. in Marine Science/Marine Biology/Oceanography/Environmental Science/Zoology

Working Experience :  In situ sampling for bio-geo-chemical (BGC) and optical parameters in coastal and open ocean waters.  Analysis of BGC (nutrients, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll, dissolved organic matter, suspended matter etc.) using spectrophotometer and chemical methods. . Marine phytoplankton and zooplankton data collection and analysis. Working experience in Remote Sensing & GIS

Emoluments :  Rs. 36,000/-.  In addition to the above salary 15% HRA will also be paid as per rules.

Qualification  :  M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS

Working Experience :  Working experience in satellite oceanography towards fishery prediction and sensitization. Working experience in outreach activities among the coastal fishing community

Emoluments :  For JRF: Rs. 25,000/-.  for 1st and 2nd year and For the 3rd year, on re-designation as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) by a Committee Rs 28,000/-.  In addition to the above salary 15% HRA will also be aid as per rules.
