Job Description
Candidates are invited to appear in a walk-in-interview before a selection committee for filling up the purely temporary position of one Research Associate (RA) in the "Short-Term Research Fellowships/Post-Doctorate Fellowships"
Eligibility: Candidates having doctorate (Ph. D.) degree in the discipline of Life Sciences (including Plant Development Biology/Plant Molecular Biology) are eligible for interview.
Candidates should have excellent academic track record with minimum 1st class grade (12th onwards).
Work experience (Ph. D. and Post-Ph. D.) in the area of plant developmental biology, evidenced by good publication record, is desirable for the position.
The Fellowship amount for the above positions is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above positions are completely on temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years.
The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based on the performance of the candidate and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The position may be terminated any time by giving a month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.
