Essential Qualification: 1. Ph.D in Management / Economics/ Statistics/ Food Processing / Food Engineering or Post graduate in Management or Masters in Food Technology/ Food Processing Science or CA with at least 3 years of teaching/ industrial experience preferably in the food /Agriculture/Fisheries sector.
2. A publication record in entrepreneurship themes in quality refereed national and international journals is expected as an added qualification. 3.In addition, applicants should be able o demonstrate effective and innovative teaching/research practice at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in innovation, skill development and entrepreneurship.
Desirable : Certificate /Diploma/ Degree in entrepreneurship from a reputed Institution

It provides high quality instructional programmes in fisheries, ocean sciences and allied subjects. The University now has 75 acres in the headquarters at Panangad, 50 acres at Fisheries station, Puduveypu and 10 acres at Thiruvallom near Vizhinjam.
