Research Associate  Materials Science (RA-I) recruitment in Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS)  purely on temporary basis

Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have Ph.D. in Materials Science/ Physical Sciences. 

The candidate must have expertise in the fabrication of nanostructures (nanoparticles, nanowires, nanotubes, core-shell and complex nanocomposites) and thin-films using physical vapour deposition process, solvothermal, sol-gel and /or other materials syntheses processes and should have profuse experience in structural, morphological and wide range of properties characterization techniques for electrical, magnetic, caloric, dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric and related alternative energy applications. Knowing how to fabricate nanoscale devices and to operate high precision electrical equipment, and high vacuum chambers will be required. Having basic computational skills in LabView and knowing Finite element analysis are plus but optional for applying in this position.

Fellowship: As per rules of the institute

Duration: Initial appointment for one year and may be extended further depending on the performance.
