Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate (RA)-III in the quantum optics and entanglement laboratory at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.

Project: "Developing efficient methods for the measurement and characterization of high- dimensional quantum states for photonic quantum information" of the quantum enabled science and technology (QuEST) program of the Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (ICPS) division of the Department of Science &Technology (DST), government of India.

Salary: ₹ 54000 per month + HRA as per institute norms

Essential Qualification: PhD in Physics / Optics / Electrical engineering

Desired Qualifications: Solid theoretical background in quantum mechanics and optics. Substantial research experience with experimental projects, preferably in the broad area of optics and quantum information.
