Research Associate Remote Sensing recruitment at IARI purely on temporary/contractual basis

Project title: ICAR National Fellow Project on “Regional Root Zone Soil Moisture Mapping from Near-Surface Measurements for Supporting AgroAdvisories in Rainfed Agriculture”

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Remote Sensing & GIS / Geomatics/ Geoinformatics/ Natural Resources Management/ Environment Science/ Geology/ Geophysics / Atmospheric Sciences/Agricultural Sciences or Civil Engineering from a recognized university / Institution. Master's Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree.

Candidates having 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET Qualification**.

Experience / Knowledge of Microwave data processing, GIS, Web Map server, Satellite Image analysis, and programming in R / IDL/ MatLab / Python
