Research Associate-I/01 Post
Qualification:
- First class Masters degree in Physical Sciences/ Mathematical Sciences/ Geological Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Geography with Ph.D. degree. Or
- M. Tech in Civil/ Environmental Engineering/Water Resource/ Hydrology/Geophysics, Earth Sciences with 3 years experience.
Desirable: Experience of working with hydrological instrumentation and GIS/ Remote sensing software
Upper Age Limit: 35 Years
Emoluments: Rs. 47,000 +HRA pm
NMHS-BHU Project: Hyperspectral imaging for shaper definitions of Himalayan Ecosystems and its high value plant species under climate uncertainties
Research Associate/01 Post
Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Botany/Forestry/ Environmental Sciences/Wildlife Sciences/Biodiversity/RS & GIS with Ph.D., and research publications in impact factor journals.
Desirable: Research experience in plant sciences/Ecology/ RS&GIS/ Environmental Science/Medicinal Plant surveys and experience of working in mountain regions

Desirable experience: Experience of working in the hilly region of the Himalaya. Preference will be given to the candidates having work experience in the field of RS&GIS.
