Research Associate

Name of the Project :  “Modulating the immune-cellular component and their signaling molecules in bovine colostrums and milk after micro-nutrient interventions and their functional validation under ex-vivo and in vivo animal models”

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Ph.D degree in any one of disciplines/Subject: Animal Physiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/LPM. OR M.Sc./M.Tech degree in any one of above relevant disciplines /subject with three years of research, teaching and design and development experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Desirable : Candidates having experience/ working knowledge in livestock experimentation/ conducting trials. Experience in developing ELISA/ Lateral Flow immunoassay will be preferred.

Emoluments :  Rs. 54,000/- per month + 8 %HRA

JRF

Name of the Project :  “Development of Phytopharmaceuti cal product for Bovine Mastitis”

Qualification  :  Post Graduate Degree in any one of the following disciplines/subjects Animal Physiology /Animal Biotechnology /Animal Biochemistry /Veterinary Sciences/ Life Sciences with NET qualifications. OR Graduate Degree in above Professional Course with NET qualification. OR Post Graduate degree in above Professional Course.

Desirable : Candidates having experience/ working knowledge in livestock experimentation/ conducting trials. Exposure/ working experience in ELISA/Lateral Flow immunoassay and good knowledge of cell culture, PCR etc.

Qualification  :  Post Graduate Degree in any one of discipline/Subject Animal Nutrition/Dairy Microbiology /Microbiology /Animal Biotechnology / /Biochemistry with NET qualification and two years of research experience. OR Graduate Degree in any one of the above discipline/Subject; in Professional Course with NET qualification and two years of research experience. OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course in any one of the above discipline/Subject; with two years of research experience.

Desirable : Experience in Rumen Microbiology/Animal Nutrition/ Microbiology/Biotechnology.

Name of the Project :  “Valorization of industrially produced soybean and groundnut deoiled meals/cakes by extraction, purification and production of protein isolates”

Qualification  :  Master's degree in any one of discipline/ Subject: Biochemistry/Animal Biochemistry/Microbiology/Da iry Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Animal Biotechnology/Molecular Biology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable : Experience in the area of functional foods /Nutraceuticals along with hands on knowledge of routine techniques in Biochemistry /Molecular Biology/ Microbiology /Tissue culture /Small animal model handing etc.

Emoluments :   Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA for 1st and 2nd year, Rs. 28,000/- per month for 3rd year.

Research Associate

Name of the Project :   “National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture”

Qualification  :  Ph.D degree in any one of the following disciplines/subjects Biotechnology/ Animal Physiology/ Animal Biotechnology/Animal Nutrition/ Animal Biochemistry/Animal Sciences. OR M.Sc/M.V.Sc degree in any one of above discipline/subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship /Associate ship/ Training / other engagements. Desirable: Experience in Animal experimentation, cell culture, cell and molecular biology, etc with hands on knowledge of routine techniques.

Emoluments :   Rs. 40,000/- per month + HRA

Young Professional-II

Name of the Project :   “National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture”

Qualification : MCA / Master’s degree in IT from recognized university. OR B.Tech degree in Information Technology.

Desirable: Experience in web designing, Photoshop, Coral draw

Emoluments :   Rs. 25,000/- per month (Fixed)

Name of the Project :   “Cell wall components of probiotic lactobacilli as therapeutics for amelioration of inflammatory gut diseases”

Qualification : Postgraduate degree in basic sciences (Microbiology/Biochemistry/Lif e Sciences) having qualified NET (CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ARS) or Graduate degree in professional course (Biotechnology) having NET (CSIR/ UGC/ICAR/ARS) or Postgraduate degree in professional course (Biotechnology/Dairy Microbiology).

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in the area of probiotics or probiotic foods along with hands on knowledge of routine techniques in Animal Tissue Culture/Molecular Biology and Microbiology like handling of bacteria, DNS and RNA isolation, PCR and Real Time PCR/Protein purification/Small animal handling etc.

Emoluments :   Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA

Age Limit:
