Research Associate /SRF/ Field Assistants job Position in Indian Agricultural Research Institute on temporary & contract basis

Research Associate (RA) /1 post for Rakhra, Patiala (Punjab); 1 (one) post For Mandsaur (MP;

Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Seed Sc. & Technology. OrMaster's degree in the abovementioned subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements as circulated vide F.No. 2-9/2012- HRD dated 25.04.2014.

Desirable qualifications: Experience of conducting plant breeding experiments in field, molecular marker technology, plant disease diagnosis, knowledge of computer operation, data analysis using software, etc.

Pay Scale : Rs. 40000/ + 5-10% HRA per month as per ICAR order F.No. Edn./6/27/ 2014/HRD Dated 13-07- 15 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09-10-15)

JRF/ SRF /1 post for Mandsaur (MP)

Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Pathology/ with 4 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/ CSIR/ ICAR- NET qualification or equivalent/ Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines in relevant subject.

Desirable qualifications: Experience of field experimentation of plant breeding/ pathology experiments, molecular marker technology, plant disease diagnosis, knowledge of computer operation, data analysis using software, etc.

Rs. 25000/ + 5-10% HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year, and Rs.28000/ + 5% HRA per month for 3rd year.

Field Assistant /2 posts for Rakhra, Patiala, (Punjab); 4 (four) posts for Mandsaur (MP)

Qualification: Experience of working in field experiments/ demonstrations related to agricultural research.

Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF and 30 years for Field Assistant (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
