Project Title  : Decoding of tea genome for identification of agromonically important genes.

Research Associate

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  : Ph.D. in bioinformatics/ allied life Science Or MSc./M.Tech in bioinformatics/Allied Science with 4/5 years Bachelor’s degree having 1 st division or 60% marks in equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship and one research paper in Science Citation Index(SCI)/ NAAS rated (≥4.0) Journal. For candidate having 03 years Bachelor degree course NET/GATE is must.

Desirable :  02 years research experience in genome sequencing or assembly,NGS data analysis being high throughput DNA/RNA sequencing/ smallRNA sequencingas evidenced by publications in reputed journals with above 2 IF.

Emoluments :  Rs 49,000/- + HRA (for Masters Degree) and Rs 54,000/- + HRA (for Ph.D.)

Senior Research Fellow

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  : MSc./M.Tech in life science/Agriculture/Allied Science with 4/5 years Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having 03 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 Years Master’s Degree must have NET/GATE qualification and atleast 2 years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship.

Desirable :  Research experience in QTL analysis/Gene expression as evidenced by publications in reputed journals with above 2 IF.

Emoluments :  Rs 35000/- per month + HRA

Age Limit :  35 years max. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and woman candidates as per ICAR rules).
