Research Associate / SRF Plant Breeding job Position in Indian Agricultural Research Institute on temporary & contract basis

Research Associate /1 Post

Essential:  Ph.D. in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology OR Master’s degree with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent Two years research experience Desirable: Working experience in crop improvement and data management.

Pay Scale : Rs. 36000 + 30% HRA for Masters Rs 38000 + 30% HRA for Ph.Ds Rs 40000 + 30% HRA for Ph.D with two years experience

SRF/1 Post

Project entitled “Hybrid Technology for Higher Productivity in Selected Field and Horticultural Crops (Mustard)” one Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA (As per ICAR

Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/ Seed Science and Technology/Life Science with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)

Desirable: Working experience on research and development of hybrids in crops and proficiency in computer skills. 

Senior Research Fellow/1 Post

Project entitled “Molecular breeding for improvement of tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, yield and quality traits in crops (Mustard)”

Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines 

Desirable: Experience in use of molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills.

Pay Scale : Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA (As per ICAR

Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF and 40 years for RA
