Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Basic Sciences of this Institute.

1. Name of the Temporary Assignment : (a) Research Associate (RA) – 2 posts

(b) Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 2 Posts

Consolidated Fellowship : As per revised rule.

Qualification & Experiences : Research Associates (Posts‐2)

Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics/Material Science/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Metallurgy with good academic carrier are required. Candidates must have prior experience in aluminium or related non‐ferrous R&D and/ in two dimensional materials research.

Candidates having publications and/or patents in them above topics will be preferred.

Senior Research Associates (Posts‐2)

Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech in Physics/Material Science & at least three years of post‐M.Sc. Research experience as evident from a published paper in standard refereed journals.

Project Assistant (Posts‐2)

Qualification: B. Sc. & M.Sc./M.Tech with first‐class, qualified in 2016 or later. Desirable: GATE or NET Qualified

Duration of Engagement : From date of joining to end of project i.e upto 31.03.2021
