Job Description
Research Associate/SRF/Semiskilled Personnel job Position in Indian Agricultural Research Institute purely on contractual basis
ICAR– Research Associate (RA) (Plant Pathology) /1 Post
Essential: Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ /Microbiology/Life science
Desirable: Experience in use of NGS based genomics tools, databases and proficiency in computer skills; Experience in managing research laboratory.
Pay Scale: Rs. 40,000
ICAR–Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (Plant Pathology) /1 Post
Essential: Master’s degree in Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ /Microbiology/ Life science with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)
Desirable: Experience in use of NGS based genomics tools, databases and proficiency in computer skills
Pay Scale: Rs. 25000
Semiskilled personnel /1 Post
Essential: Bachelor degree in any branch of Science/Agriculture with minimum 50% marks.
Desirable: Knowledge of laboratory equipments /greenhouse maintenance/various analysis plant and soil samples and computer work
Pay Scale: Rs. 16000
The age should be maximum 35 years for SRF (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC).
SRF must assist Principal Investigator in day to day work related to project and other work related to the project and laboratory.
The age should be maximum 40 years for RA (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC). (iv) RA must assist Principal Investigator in day to day work related to project and other official administrative work related to execution of project.
The age should be maximum 30 years for Semi-Skilled Personnel (SSP) (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC).
