Research Associate (Structural Immunology)
The project is funded for 3 years. The position is available for the first one year and will be extended based on the performance evaluation.

Job Location: ICGEB, New Delhi
Essential Qualification:The candidate should have a PhD degree in biological sciences with strong background knowledge in biochemical/structural biology techniques. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are waiting for viva voce may also apply. For such candidates, Fellowship amount will be that of an SRF until he/she defends
Ph.D. thesis. Having at least one first author publication in peer-reviewed journal of high repute in above subject areas is required.
Desirable:Commendable experience in some of the following is preferable; Molecular biology bench work with PCR,cloning, and vector design. Cell culture, transfections and Antibody screening using phage display library.Structural Biology of Protein-ligand interaction and the knowledge of techniques in macromolecularcrystallography will be useful.
