Research Associate 

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Ph.D in Bioinformatic/Computational Biology/ Biotechnology / Microbiology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Life Sciences/Bio-Medical Sciences.

Eligibility :  Minimum qualification for Research Associate (1 post) is Ph.D in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/ Biotechnology / Microbiology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Life Sciences/Bio-MedicaI Sciences with Master's Degree (with good academic record) in above discipline of Science from a UGC-recognized University/IITs/National Research Institutes. Preference will be given to a candidate who has been awarded Ph.D degree in the above discipline within past two years.

Desirable : Desirable qualification is experience in microbial pathogen/microbiology/drug designing/data base creation etc. focusing on genomics/metagenomics, next generation sequencing, sequence analysis, drug docking analysis, variant analysis, experience in window/Linux soft-wares in bioinformatics. Wet lab experience of PCW ReaI-time PCR/molecular Biology work will be added advantage to the candidate.

Emoluments :  Rs. 36,000/- PM with 10% HRA. This RA fellowship will be governed as per guidelines. issued by DBT.

Studentship

Eligibility :  Post-Graduate Degree course/Diploma in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Biomedical Sciences/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life sciences/Biochemistry with a programme related to Bioinformatics are eligible to apply. The candidate must be enrolled for Post-graduate degree course/Diploma in the UIGC recognized university/research institutions etc. in India on regular basis, Only those candidates apply who have completed their required course work for the award of the above Post-graduate degree course/Diploma.

Fellowship/remuneration: Rs. 10,000 per month (Fixed).

Traineeship

Eligibility: Post-Graduate Degree course/Diploma Bioinformatics/ Biomedical Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life sciences /Bio chemistry with a programme in Bioinformatics are eligible to apply. The candidate must be successfully completed his/her Post-graduate degree course/Diploma in the UGC recognised university/research institutions etc. in India on regular basis with minimum 60% marks.

Fellowship/remuneration :  Rs. 10,000 per month (Fixed).
