Research Associate Virology recruitment in ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar purely on contractual basis
Scheme: “Development of molecular platforms for point-of-care detection of major enteric viruses responsible for neonatal mortality in animals”.
Qualification: PhD in Virology/ Immunology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Life sciences Or MVSc/MSc in Virology/ Immunology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life sciences with 1st Division or Master's degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014. Candidates should have working experience in realtime PCR, cloning, protein expression, sequencing, synthetic peptide work, immunoassays (ELISA) and should be well versed with bioinformatics software’s and computer knowledge. Published research papers will be desirable .
