Engagement Of Fixed Term Research Associates For HP Green R&D Centre, Bengaluru.
PhD - Chemistry: Organic / Analytical (spectroscopy/ Chromatography/ mass
spectrometry) , Physical / Polymer Chemistry, Heterogeneous Catalysis / Nano materials (experience in synthesis of catalysts, characterization and hydrocarbon conversion preferred).
PhD – Chemical Engineering: Separation processes (Adsorption/Extraction/Absorption)Catalysis/ Modelling & Simulation (Preferably CFD)/ Refining Processes PhD – Energy Studies/ Solar Thermal /Bio mass pyrolysis Energy storage (eg. Batteries)/ Electrochemistry/ Fuel Cells PhD - Bio Sciences/ Bio Energy /Microbiology/ Molecular biology/ Life Sciences
Candidates should have at least 3 years of Laboratory experience of working on Bacterial, Yeast or Fungal Molecular Biology areas/ projects during their PHD work. The candidates should be well versed with microbial culturing, bioprocess optimization, cloning, sequencing and analysis, protein purification etc. Candidates with PhD in Microbiology & Biotechnology with Molecular Biology as a part of their thesis will be preferred.
M Tech Chemical Engineering
Chemical Engineering/ Petroleum Refining & Petrochemicals
Minimum 1-year Post M Tech relevant work experience in Petroleum Refining or related areas preferably in Industry.
Eligibility: M Tech Mechanical Engineering - Solar (CSP):Energy Studies / Energy Storage/ Batteries/ Biomass conversions/Computational Fluid Dynamics Modelling Minimum 1 year Post M Tech work experience in relevant areas preferably in Industry.
NOTE: At the time of application, the candidate should have proof of award of Degree. In case of candidates with PhD degree, applicants should have been awarded PhD degree at the time of application OR candidate must have the Proof of submission of PhD thesis. Candidates (belonging to General and OBC-NC category) should have secured minimum 60% marks (aggregate marks of all subject/semesters/years) in qualifying degree examinations and Post Graduation degree, relaxed to 50% (aggregate marks of all semesters/ years) for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Candidates with Integrated Courses can also apply.
Candidates should have passed qualifying degree examinations and awarded degree in engineering and/or PhD in the above mentioned disciplines. All Degree/Diploma qualifications should be full time regular course/s from AICTE approved / UGC recognized University/Deemed University. The courses offered by Autonomous Institutions should be equivalent to the relevant courses approved / recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UGC/AICTE. Candidates with Integrated Degrees should have done a Full Time Course. Wherever CGPA/DGPA or letter grade in a Degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application as per norms adopted by University/ Institution.
Age Limit: 32 years or below as on 20 November 2017.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of screening of applications and Testimonials as per the eligibility norms of eligible candidates followed by personal interview by the Selection Committee.
Stipend: An all-inclusive stipend of Rs.50,000/- to Rs.60,000/- per month depending on qualification & experience, is payable.
