SRF /1 Post
Qualification:1. Master's degree in the relevant subjects Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Soil & Water Conservation/ Agnl. Chemistry/ Horticulture with 4/5 years of Bachelor's degree. 2. Candidates having Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences of Biochemistry/Microbiology with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2/3 years Master's degree should have NET qualification with two years research experience and working knowledge in Computer application.
Age limit :35 years
Pay Scale :Rs.25000/- pm plus HRA for NET (JRF) qualified candidate
2 .National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem (NMSHE) Project
JRF/1 Post
Qualification: Master Degree (Agriculture)/ Life Sciences with NET in the discipline of Agriculture/ Taxonomy/ Animal Science/ Geography/ Environment Science/ Social Science/ Soil & Water Conservation engineering/ Post-harvest processing/ Agril. Business. Candidates having post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences of Biochemistry/Microbiology with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2/3 year Master's degree should have NET qualification with two years research experience and working knowledge in Computer application.

ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region (Umiam), ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region was establised in the year 1975 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research to provide an adequate research base for supporting agricultural development in the North Eastern Hill region of the country. It is the first institute of its kind setup by ICAR which encompasses all the disciplines of agriculture, horticulture, animal siciences, agricultural engineering, agro forestry and fishery to cater to the research needs of the tribal areas of NEH Region including Sikkim.
