Advertisement for the research Position: JRF/SRF/RA

Walk-in interview for the research position (RA/SRF/JRF) under the CSIR sponsored project entitled “Study on some thin film coating flow problems using nanoliquid” with sanction order no. 25(0267)/17/EMR-II will be held on 09/08/2017 at 10 am.  Interested candidates may appear in front of the selection board with all original testimonials at NIT Arunachal Pradesh, Yupia.

Number of Position: 1(one)

Essential Qualification: (i) For JRF:  M. Sc. in Mathematics or equivalent degree with 55 %

                                               marks and passing NET/GATE test.

                                       (ii) For SRF: M.Sc. in Mathematics or equivalent degree and at least 2

                                              years of post M.Sc. research/teaching experience as evidence from

                                              published papers in standard  refereed journals or M.E./M.Tech.

                                              in Mechanical Engineering.

                                       (iii) For RA:  Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics or equivalent or 3 years of

                                              research, teaching and design & development experience after

                                              M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.  

Fellowship:                     For JRF: Rs. 12,000/- per month+ HRA (As per rules)  

                                       For SRF: Rs. 14,000/- per month+ HRA (As per rules)     

                                       For RA : Rs. 36,000/- per month+ HRA (As per rules)  

Age Limit:                      28 years for JRF, 32 years for SRF, 35 years for RA on the last date of

                                        application (The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for

                                        SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically handicapped candidates).

Tenure of Fellowship:    Appointment of research position will be made on contract basis for a

                                        period of one year initially, which may be extended depending on the

                                        performance evaluation on yearly basis till end of the project.       

Note:                              1. Candidate must provide valid E-mail IDs in their Applications.

                                       2. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

                                           3. Applicants in employment (government or any other organization) are required

                                              to submit “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of interview.

                                       4. In Case of any discrepancy or dispute, the decision of NIT Authority will

                                           be final & binding.

                                       5. Candidate having CPI 6.5 or 60% marks in M.Sc./M.Tech. may be eligible to

                                           register for Ph.D. program of the institute.

                                           6. A DD of Rs. 500/- for General category and Rs. 300/- for (ST/SC/OBC) must be
