ADVANCED GEOSPATIAL APPLICATION GROUP (AGAG)
Research Fellow /2 Posts
Essential (i) First Class Master’s degree (or equivalent*) in the relevant subject AND (ii) One year relevant experience as JRF or similar position OR PG Diploma in RS & GIS from recognised and reputed institution/university (Relevant Subjects: Geography/ Urban Planning/ Earth Sciences/ Geoinformatics/GIST/RS & GIS/ Environmental Science/Soil Science/ Soil & Water Engineering) Desirable I. Proficiency in GIS and Image Processing Software’s II. Experience in interpretation of data and writing reports/papers in peer reviewed journals III. Good aptitude with ability to work in the team efficiently.
Salary : Rs.27000
Junior Research Fellow / 04 Posts
Essential First Class Master’s degree (or equivalent*) in the relevant subject (Relevant Subjects: Geography/Earth Sciences/ Geoinformatics/GIST/RS & GIS) Desirable: I. Fast Learner and team worker II. Good knowledge of GIS and Image Processing Software’s.
Pay Scale : Rs.25000
Project Fellow/ 02 Post
Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate in Geography/Agriculture (with at least 50% marks) and three months or more experience. OR Engineering Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Survey with knowledge in computer and drafting tool such as Auto CAD along with at least three months experience Note: Candidate not having requisite experience will be paid Rs.10,000/- per month
Pay Scale : Rs.12000
Technical Assistant (Soil and Water)/ 01 Post
Qualification: 1. Graduate with at least 50% marks 2. One year experience in handling of soil and water samples for laboratory analysis

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate/Post Graduate with subjects Geography, Agriculture, Agronomy, Soils, Forestry, Geology, Agriculture Engineering, Remote Sensing & GIS
