Project Title: In-situ and Ex-situ Conservation of Endemic Andaman Edible-nest Swiftlet in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Name of the Position: Junior Research Biologist (1 No)
Age: Below 28 years as on 25.02.2020
Emoluments: Rs. 25000/- per month plus HRA as applicable;
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Zoology/Ecology/Wildlife Science/ Wildlife Biology/Environmental Science/Environment Management and other related subjects from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or above;
Desirable Qualification: Ability to speak, read and write Hindi; Candidates should be willing to live in remote islands and travel extensively on sea. Candidates with experience in cave environment and rock climbing skills will be preferred
Description of work: To work closely with the forest department of Andaman and Nicobar islands and local communities towards in-situ and ex-situ conservation of the Andaman Edible-nest Swiftlet.
