Research Scientist II & I/ Lab Technician  job recruitment in University College of Medical Sciences on contract basis

Research Scientist II

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  M.Sc in life sciences/biotechnology with PhD. with five years research experience OR Post graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with 5 years R&D/teaching experience or postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with 6 years R&D /teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university; OR MBBS from any institute recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from a recognized University with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS degree; OR BDS/B.V.Sc&AH degree recognized by DCI/VCI with 9 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after BDS/B.V.Sc degree.

Desirable : a) Post doctoral experience on use of FACS, Gene expression system, HPLC, GC-MS, and other molecular equipment’s. b) Knowledge of Computer application /data management, data analysis and interpretation of results of statistical analysis. c) Experience of working in similar schemes in Government or any autonomous organization.

Consolidated Salary : Rs. 70,000/- p.m.

Age Limit :  Less than 40 years

Research Scientist I

Qualification  :  M.Sc in life sciences/Biotechnology or related subjects with PhD with at least three year research experience on use of FACS, HPLC, PCR and other molecular biology equipment’s etc OR MBBS from any institute recognized by MCI or BE/B.Tech degree in Bio Technology.

Desirable : a) Doctorate or M. Tech or MD in the related subject from a recognized university b) Post doctoral research experience in relevant subjects c) Knowledge of Computer application or Business intelligence tools /data management,. d) Experience of working in similar schemes in Government or any autonomous organization .

Consolidated Salary: Rs, 60,000/- p.m.

Age Limit :  Less than 35 years

Lab Technician

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  B.Sc MLT/ B.Sc in life sciences with experience in research laboratory OR 12th pass in Science Subjects and 2 years diploma (DMLT or PMW or radiology/radiography or required subject) OR 12th in Science Subjects with one year DMLT and one year required experience in a recognized organization as a Lab Technician or two years field/ laboratory experience or Animal House Keeping in Govt. recognized Orgn.

Experience : Working knowledge of molecular biology equipments and working knowledge of Computer application etc

Desirable : M.Sc in life sciences

Consolidated Salary : Rs 25,000/- p.m.

Age Limit :  Less than 30 years
