Recruitment For The Post Of Research Scientist-II (Medical) In The RVRDL Project, Dept Of Microbiology, JIPMER, Puducherry For A Period Of 1 Year (Contract)
Applications are being invited for the following post for Regional Level Viral Research & Diagnostic Laboratory under DHR/ICMR Funded "Establishnent of a Network of Research Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and Natural Calamities in the Departnent of Microbiology, JIPMER on contract basis.
1. Post Name: Research Scientist II (Medical)

3. Salary: 75,000/- P.M
4. Qualification:
i. Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with one year R&D / teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with two years R&D / teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university. Or
ii. MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized university with 4years R&D teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS degree. Or
iii. BDS / B. V. & AH degree recognized by DCI / VCI with 5 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after BDS / B. V. Sc degree
5. Desirable:
i. MD in the relevant subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
ii Additional Ph.D. / Post-doctoral research / training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).
iii Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.
6. Notes:
i. Candidates with Post graduate degree in medical subjects shall be recruited as Research Scientist I (Medical) after requisite training under Talent Search Scheme
ii. MD / MS / MDS in the relevant subject shall be treated equivalent to three years experience.
iii. Post Graduate diploma in medical subjects shall be treated equivalent to two years experience.
