VACANCY NOTICE PU/TS/02-20

The ICGEB invites internal applications for the post of Research Technician

Qualifications : High School Diploma and University Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology

or related fields. Additional requirements that will be positively evaluated include: (i) at least two years

previous practical experience in Arbovirus research and diagnosis; (ii) qualification to work with human

viral pathogens at the Biosafety Level 3; (iii) qualification to manage Fluorescence Microscopy (Confocal,

Live imaging).

COMPETENCIES: Active attitude towards work and working issues, high commitment and respect of

deadlines, organizational, analytical and manual skills. Good interpersonal skills and motivation to work in

team. Ability to use SAP accounting procedures would be an advantage.

LANGUAGES: English is essential and Italian is an asset.
