Applications are invited for following purely project based temporary positions under various projects at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute.
UPCB funded project on ‘Preparation of District/State Environment Plan’
Researcher (01 Post)
Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- fixed
Age limit: 32 years* (Position is initially for 6 months only; extendable on performance and need) PC-01
Qualification: 1st Class Master Degree in Chemical Sciences / Earth Sciences/ Geography/ RS and GIS or related subject with 02 years of experience in required areas Or 1 st Class M.Tech Degree in Civil/ Industrial/ Environmental Engineering or related subject Or 1 st Class B.Tech Degree in Civil/ Industrial/ Environmental Engineering or related subject with 02 years of experience in required areas
Desirable: (i) Experience of environmental data collection and analysis (ii) Skills of editing scientific reports and document designing and technical report preparation (iii) Experience of Satellite image processing (iv) Knowledge of working with RS & GIS and statistical software (SPSS, MATLAB, R, etc.) (v) Strong foundation in focus group research and analytical skills.
