Job Description
Designation: Manager - Data Science
Location:
- Navi Mumbai
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/Management.
- Master’s degree in engineering/Management preferred.
Experience:
- 10 - 12 years of total relevant experience.
- Minimum of 4 years in leadership roles in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML)
- Deep experience in building end to end AI/ML based applications along with big data technologies
- Hands-on programming skills in Python, R etc.
- Experience in diverse Data Science modelling including deep learning and reinforced.
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Knowledge and experience in statistical, data mining and ML techniques
- Working experience in Big Data and related technologies : Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, SQL , Mongo DB, HDFS etc.
- Ability to explain and present analyses and machine learning concepts to a broad technical audience
- Experience in Analytics - Reports and Dashboards
Industry:
- Preferably from a Technology, ITES, Products, Professional SI organization with a focus on BFSI
Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, coach and manage a team of data professionals in the area of Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science, Experimentation, AI & ML.
- Perform statistical and exploratory data analysis
- Research and implement appropriate Ai/ML algorithms and review the (code) implementation of team members
- Identify valuable data sources and architect/automate ETL strategies
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Coordinate project governance meetings, project health checks, phase gate reviews, post project reviews and project level workshops
- Produce periodic and ad-hoc reports for all stakeholders including leadership to monitor and ensure that projects comply with the governance framework
- Play a proactive role in the promotion of project management methods and standards, implementation of good project management practice and the monitoring of projects
- Provide timely, candid and constructive performance feedback to direct reports
- Develop direct reports to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance their career growth
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by Senior/Executive Management
Certifications:
- Big Data, Data Science Specific Certifications are preferred
Employment Type:
- All positions are on fixed term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT, initially for a period of five years, extendable by mutual consent.
