Job Description
Engagement of Part Time Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration at Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for preparing a panel for (04) posts (2 Unreserved (UR), 01 Schedule Caste (SC) and 01 Other Backward Class (OBC)) of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis for three (03) years only, with fixed hourly remuneration for various dispensaries of Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur (the Bank).
2. Candidates seeking reservation as Schedule Caste (SC) / Schedule Tribe (ST) /Other Backward Class (OBC) must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation and should also submit all the requisite certificates/validity in the prescribed format in support of their claim along with the application.
3. Reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in recruitment is governed by Office Memorandum No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019 of Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance & Pensions, Government of India. Benefits of reservation under EWS category can be availed upon production of an “Income and Asset Certificate” issued by a Competent Authority in the format prescribed by Government of India.

Eligibility, Terms & Conditions:
1. Applicant should at a minimum possess MBBS degree of any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine.
2. The Applicant should have a minimum of 02 (two) years’ experience of practising medicine in any hospital or clinic as a Medical Practitioner.
3. The applicant should have their own clinic/dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 10-15 kms from any of the Bank’s dispensaries as listed below.
4. The remuneration of Medical Consultant on contract basis will be fixed with the reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive.
5. Empanelment/Contract of engagement will be for a period of three years. There will not be any renewal of engagement on completion of the contract. A fresh empanelment exercise will be undertaken after three years or at any time at Bank’s Discretion wherein existing doctors will be eligible to apply subject to the terms and conditions of the same.
