Job Description
- Performs duties as per duty roaster and hands over the patients to the next doctor on call on the completion of his duty.
- Attend to casuality calls
- Support in Out Patient procedures
- Attend to In-Patient calls
- Completing admission formalities as per hospital policy.
- Attend rounds with Consultants.
- Coordinate with Nurses, Patient Care Coordinators to ensure Patient Care.
- Assess, plan, evaluate, and document patient clinical records.
- Clinical examination of the patient, making provisional assessment of the diagnosis and decide on the mode of treatment as IP or OP.
- Advise for necessary investigations in consultation with the Consultant.
- Carries out the instructions of the Senior Colleagues/Consultants pertaining to the patients.
- Ensure that records of patients in my care are accurate, up to date and legible and signed.
- Support in Discharge summary preparation
