Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate medical care to admitted patients (IPD).

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in emergency situations.

  • Conduct regular ward rounds and monitor patient progress.

  • Implement treatment plans as advised by consultants.

  • Prescribe medications and order necessary investigations.

  • Assist in medical procedures and surgeries when required.

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

  • Respond promptly to code blue and other emergency calls.

  • Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff for patient management.

  • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards.

  • Counsel patients and relatives regarding treatment plans and progress.
