Job Description
Job Summary
- We are looking for a residential teacher to employ in one of our boys homes in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu.
- The teacher will live inside the home and will be reposnsible for the children's tuition sessions and scolastic achievements.
- Start date: immediate
- Location: Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India
- Full-time
- Salary: 6.000 rupees/month + accomodation
- Male candidates only.
- Assessing children’s educational level and performances;
- Regularly checking children's diaries and school assignments;
- Regularly monitoring children's esucational progress and performances;
- Conducting tuition classes in the morning and in the evening;
- Conducting regular visits to school to check children’s school performance;
- Undertaking initiatives to improve children’s educational performances;
- Collaborating and coordinating with other members of the home staff.
- Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Specialisation in Maths required (M.Maths preferred);
- Experience in tutoring/teaching preferred;
- Good level of English;
- Commitment to TDH Core Vision, Mission and Values;
- Keen interest in teaching and working with children.
- Food and accomodation.
