Your Role and Responsibilities
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- At IBM, you will be part of the IBM Data Analytics team and will develop capabilities which are useful for customers.
- You will work in an innovation driven, collaborative environment to understand requirements, architect, design and implement QA test cases which will test functionalities.
- You will work in a agile development environment
- You will actively contribute to all phases of software development and acts as a face of customer in getting real customer situations.
- You will develop proof of concepts to establish technical feasibilities
- You will mentor junior members
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5 - 10 years of overall IT experience
- Experience working with Linux or Unix based OS
- Strong development experience with Java and object-oriented programming expert level
- Strong development experience with REST API development
- Working knowledge with Container technologies: Kubernetes (preferred), Docker, etc.
- Working knowledge on OpenShift
- Working knowledge on REST API development
- Experience working with Automation and Integration processes and tools: Ansible, Icinga, Jenkins. Experienced with tools such as GitHub/JIRA
- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM-based environment
- Understanding of Data Replication technology is an add-on
- Working knowledge on Database usage knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing)
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Understanding of Git, docker, Operating System knowledge - Linux, AIX, Windows, zOS, Assembly language proficiency is a plus
