v Ensure effective communication by attending meetings/Daily prayer as required and holding staff briefings on a regular basis to impart information.

v Treat all Team Members fairly, with respect and maintain high standards of morale.

v Create a positive team atmosphere among staff, Provide feedback and coaching regularly to exceed guest expectations.

v Set high standards of team behavior, equitable discipline, yet complying with company regulations.

v Ensure the causes of staff grievances are investigated and appropriate action taken.

v Be sensitive to the needs of subordinate staff, Respond and report any problems / breaches of discipline to the manager.

v Ensure that effective orientation, Induction program and training for new staff is provided.

v Hold regular on-the-job training and coaching sessions to ensure staff perform their duties as per SOP.

v Understand staff capability through Cross training.

v Hold regular performance appraisals, identify areas for development and training, and ensure that this training is carried out.

v Be constantly aware of staff who have potential for development and ensure that these people are highlighted for promotion.

v Counsel and discipline employees, Termination of a subordinate can only be affected after a disciplinary hearing held by a superior.

v Communicate job expectations, review job contributions and enforce policies and procedures.

v Ensure that service staff are well trained and serve the Guests in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

v Ensure staffing levels are correct and to agreed standards and are not exceeded without prior consultation.

v In charge of making duty roster and making sure all the shifts are covered and work is evenly distributed.
