Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and target-driven Restaurant Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the restaurant’s services, attracting new clients (including individuals, corporates, event planners), maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
This role blends customer interaction, business development, local marketing, and coordination with restaurant teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. The Sales Executive must possess excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to close deals effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development and Client Acquisition

Identify and approach potential clients, including corporate offices, local businesses, and event planners for group bookings, corporate tie-ups, and catering services.

Develop and maintain a database of potential leads through cold calls, field visits, social media, and referrals.

Promote group reservations, party packages, banquet bookings, outdoor catering, and special deals to increase footfall and revenue.
2. Customer Relationship Management

Build long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.

Act as the point of contact for VIP guests, event coordinators, or corporate clients.

Address and resolve customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
3. Coordination with Internal Teams

Work closely with the restaurant’s operations team, kitchen staff, and event managers to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales promotions and campaigns.

Share client feedback with relevant departments for continuous improvement.
4. Sales Target Achievement

Meet and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets, including revenue goals and booking numbers.

Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities and conversions.

Suggest new revenue streams such as pre-paid meal packages, festival promotions, seasonal tie-ups, etc.
5. Local Area Marketing (LAM)

Promote the restaurant at local events, trade shows, or community gatherings.

Distribute flyers, brochures, or coupons in nearby residential or commercial areas.

Establish connections with local vendors, influencers, and community leaders to boost word-of-mouth promotion.
6. Reporting and Analysis

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, follow-ups, and status updates using Excel or CRM software.

Prepare sales reports and share insights on customer trends, competitor offerings, and pricing dynamics.

Analyze failed leads and work on strategies for conversion improvement.
