Job Description

Store Operations:
- Ensuring smooth and efficient store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Monitoring sales performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Implementing and managing sales promotions and in-store events.
- Managing cash flow and ensuring accurate point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
- Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
Sales & Merchandising:
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and customer traffic.
- Creating and maintaining visually appealing product displays to attract customers.
- Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and trends.
Financial Management:

Managing budgets and ensuring that financial objectives are met.
Monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Store Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the retail stores, ensuring smooth functioning of all aspects of store activities.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards across all retail locations.
- Implement operational strategies to improve store performance and meet sales targets.
Team Management and Training:
- Lead, motivate, and manage store managers and staff to achieve set objectives and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop training programs to improve staff performance in areas such as product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for peak periods and manage employee schedules efficiently.
Sales and Profitability:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets, boost store profitability, and drive revenue growth.
- Analyze store sales data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas where sales can be enhanced.
- Work with marketing and promotions teams to ensure effective in-store promotions and advertising efforts.
- Ensure the store's visual merchandising aligns with brand standards and creates an attractive shopping environment.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee stock levels, ensuring inventory is managed effectively to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock or stockouts.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through effective management of customer service standards.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive store reputation.
- Foster a customer-centric culture across the retail team, encouraging staff to engage with customers and exceed their expectations.
Financial and Budget Management:
- Manage operational costs and ensure the store stays within the allocated budget.
- Monitor and control expenses related to inventory, staffing, utilities, and other store operations.
- Prepare reports on store performance, including sales, expenses, and profit margins, and share insights with senior management.
Compliance and Health & Safety:
- Ensure the store complies with all legal, regulatory, and company standards, including health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that the store environment remains safe for both customers and employees.
- Ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications are up to date.
Store Performance Reporting:
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales figures, foot traffic, and customer satisfaction metrics to evaluate store performance.
- Report regularly to senior management on operational performance, key challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions where necessary to meet performance goals.
Store Development and Innovation:
- Identify areas for improvement in store processes, systems, and customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with retail industry trends and innovations to recommend and implement new processes or technologies to enhance store operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop new initiatives that improve the retail operation.
