Job Description
Job Summary:
We are hiring a confident, energetic, and persuasive Retail Outlet Sales Promoter to represent our brand and drive sales at our retail outlets. As a Sales Promoter, you will be the face of the brand in-store, responsible for showcasing products, explaining features and benefits, engaging with customers, and closing sales effectively.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and a customer-first mindset. It is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with people, have a flair for selling, and want to build a career in retail or field sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Demonstration & Promotion:

Actively approach walk-in customers and engage them in conversations about the product.

Showcase product features, benefits, pricing, and offers in a clear and compelling manner.

Demonstrate how the product works (if applicable) and explain its advantages over competitors.

Encourage product trials and promote new arrivals or high-priority stock.
2. Sales Generation:

Convert customer inquiries into successful sales by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products.

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as set by the supervisor.

Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction value.

Keep track of conversions and follow up with interested customers, if required.
3. Visual Merchandising:

Ensure the product display is neat, clean, attractive, and aligned with brand standards.

Regularly check that promotional materials like posters, banners, and flyers are up-to-date and well-placed.

Assist in organizing and replenishing inventory on shelves and display counters.
4. Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout their shopping experience.

Handle queries, concerns, or objections politely and professionally.

Provide after-sales service guidance such as warranty, exchange policy, or usage instructions.

Collect feedback and share insights with the store or sales team to improve service.
5. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain a daily report of sales, walk-ins, inquiries, stock movement, and promotional performance.

Share insights with the supervisor regarding customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activity.

Assist in inventory management and stock audits when required.
Skills & Competencies:

Salesmanship: Ability to convince and convert walk-in customers through effective persuasion.

Communication: Clear and friendly communication in local language, Hindi, and/or English.

Product Knowledge: Quick learning of product features, brand USPs, and technical specifications (if applicable).

Customer Handling: Positive attitude, patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.

Presentation: Personal grooming, neat attire, and confident body language.
