Retail Sales Officer
Job Description
Looking for smart and energetic candidates who is interested in Jewellery sales.
Candidate should be settled in Trivandrum. Preferred male candidates.
Immediate joiner preferred.
Shift: 9:45 am to 7:30 pm, 10:45 am to 8:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service and Sales

Greet customers warmly and engage them to understand their needs and preferences.

Provide expert advice on jewellery types, designs, materials, pricing, and care.

Showcase and demonstrate jewellery pieces effectively, highlighting unique features and benefits.

Assist customers in making purchase decisions, ensuring they have a satisfying shopping experience.

Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and courteously.
2. Product Knowledge and Display

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of jewellery products, including gemstones, precious metals, and current trends.

Assist in setting up attractive product displays and ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Participate in inventory checks and report stock discrepancies or damages.
3. Sales Targets and Reporting

Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective customer engagement and follow-ups.

Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer details, and feedback.

Prepare sales reports and share insights with management to improve store performance.
4. Security and Compliance

Follow store security procedures strictly to prevent theft or damage.

Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and invoicing accurately.

Comply with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations regarding jewellery sales.
5. Team Collaboration

Work collaboratively with other sales staff and store management to create a positive work environment.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.

Support marketing efforts by promoting new collections or special offers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in sales or jewellery studies is a plus.

Experience: Previous retail sales experience, preferably in jewellery or luxury goods.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-oriented attitude.

Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of jewellery materials, craftsmanship, and market trends.

Sales Ability: Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Attention to Detail: Careful handling of valuable products and accurate transaction processing.

Presentation: Neat and professional appearance suitable for a luxury retail environment.
