JOB ROLE: - RETAIL SALES OFFICER
SALARY - 20K-30K
Requirements: - 12th
Pass/Graduate with 2+ years of experience in Retail sales with good
communication, interpersonal skills and computer knowledge. (Candidate with
Jewellery Experience will be given preference.)
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement & Sales

Greet every customer warmly and professionally upon entering the showroom.

Understand the customer's needs, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable jewellery options.

Explain product features, quality, pricing, and certifications clearly and confidently.

Upsell and cross-sell jewellery pieces to meet or exceed sales targets.

Build trust and rapport to develop lasting customer relationships.
2. Product Knowledge
-
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the full product range including gold, diamond, platinum, silver, and gemstone jewellery.

Stay updated on current fashion trends, new arrivals, hallmarking standards, and making charges.

Explain the benefits of various jewellery types, including investment value, design uniqueness, and craftsmanship.
3. Store Operations

Assist in displaying jewellery attractively and ensuring showcases are clean and well-lit.

Track and manage inventory at the counter and report discrepancies if any.

Help in stock taking, tagging, pricing, and security of high-value items.

Ensure the sales floor is always clean, organized, and welcoming.
4. Billing & Documentation

Coordinate with the cashier for accurate billing, customer details, and warranty documentation.

Handle basic invoicing or order-related paperwork when necessary.

Ensure proper documentation for exchanges, returns, or special orders.
5. Customer Service

Address customer concerns with patience and professionalism.

Follow up with customers for post-sale support, feedback, and repeat business.

Promote loyalty programs, festive offers, and store events.
Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal communication in Hindi and English; knowledge of local/regional languages is a plus.

Pleasant appearance, good grooming, and positive body language.

Polite, persuasive, and confident in handling premium customers.

High patience level and active listening ability.

Attention to detail, honesty, and reliability in managing high-value products.
