Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Support

Welcome and assist customers visiting the branch.

Provide information on banking products, services, and account-related queries.

Help customers with cash deposits, withdrawals, cheque clearances, and fund transfers.
-
Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues while maintaining a polite and professional approach.
2. Sales & Product Promotion
-
Promote banking products such as savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, credit cards, loans, insurance, and investment schemes.

Assist customers in understanding the benefits and features of various products.
-
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
3. Transaction Handling & Documentation
-
Manage routine cash and non-cash banking transactions accurately.
-
Ensure proper documentation for account openings, loan applications, and KYC compliance.
-
Handle customer verification processes to minimize errors and fraud.
-
Maintain records of daily transactions and customer interactions.
4. Compliance & Security
-
Follow all banking policies, procedures, and RBI guidelines.
-
Maintain confidentiality of customer data and financial records.
-
Report suspicious transactions to the branch manager or compliance officer immediately.
5. Branch Operational Support
-
Support the branch in daily administrative and operational tasks.

Coordinate with internal teams for approvals, verifications, and follow-ups.

Assist in organizing promotional events, customer meetups, and financial awareness drives.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of banking products and financial services.

Familiarity with core banking software, MS Office, and digital banking platforms.

Ability to process cash, cheques, and online transactions accurately.
