Retired Staff job Position in Northern Railway
Re-engagement of Retired Gazetted officers in Exigencies of Services in
(i) Mechanical Engineering Department = 07 vacancies
(ii) Civil Engineering Department/Northern Railway = 26 vacancies
Eligibility : Only the Retired Officers of Mechanical Engineering Department/NR and Civil Engineering Department/NR are eligible to apply. Such Retired Officers, i.e. applicant should not have under gone any major punishment (SF-05) in the last 05 years.
Remuneration : Monthly remuneration of a retired Sr. Scale Officer being re-engaged against the Junior Scale post be determined by reducing Pension from his/her last pay drawn (i.e. Basic Pay + DA) by the Officer in Junior Scale/Group ‘B’ just before the promotion to Senior Scale minus the pension of the retired officer. In case the last working of the retired Senior Scale Officer, re-engaged, in Junior Scale/Group ‘B’ post, was during 6th CPC, then the corresponding amount will be worked out by applying 2.57 fitment factor and notional placement in the corresponding pay scale to ascertain corresponding 7th CPC pay.
Age Limit : Maximum Age 65 years as on 04.03.2019.
