Job Description

Position: Telecom RF Engineer
Company: uConnect Technologies
Location: Across India
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Project Manager / RF Lead

uConnect Technologies is a fast-growing telecom services company delivering end-to-end network deployment and support for leading operators in India. We specialize in wireless, wireline, and broadband network rollout for clients like Bharti Airtel, Tata Communications (TCL), and Vodafone Idea.

Role Overview

We are hiring Telecom RF Engineers for field installation, commissioning, and testing of Point-to-Point (PTP) & Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) radios (RADWIN, Cambium, etc.). This role requires on-site work across India and close coordination with customer & internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site survey & RF planning for PTP/PTMP links.

  • Install, align, and commission RADWIN and Cambium radios on towers, rooftops, and poles.

  • Configure and integrate radio links with customer networks (IP, VLAN, QoS).

  • Perform Link Acceptance Test (LAT) / User Acceptance Test (UAT) to ensure KPIs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve RF connectivity or performance issues on field.

  • Prepare site installation reports and maintain proper documentation.

  • Coordinate with NOC and project teams for smooth rollout.

  • Follow safety standards and telecom site compliance guidelines.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Networking.

  • 1–5 years experience in wireless network deployment (PTP/PTMP).

  • Hands-on with RADWIN / Cambium / UBR radios installation & alignment.

  • Understanding of RF fundamentals, LOS/NLOS planning, Fresnel zone clearance.

  • Familiar with IP networking (routing, switching, VLANs, QoS).

  • Willing to work at heights with safety gear & travel extensively across India.

  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • OEM certifications (RADWIN Certified Installer / Cambium ePMP / PMP).

  • Tower Climbing & Safety training.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience).

  • Travel allowance & site allowances as per company policy.

  • Work on leading telecom projects with top operators in India.
