Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in DBT MK Bhan fellowship project entitled "Pre-clinical evaluation of the mechanistic and immunological pharmacodynamics of a novel saponin, Uttroside B (Utt-B), against Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)" of Dr. Kalimuthu Kalishwaralal at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram

3. Essential Qualifications: Good Academic records with First Class Master's Degree in Life Science or Biotechnology. The Candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test- CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology
a. Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam/ Approved DST Inspire Fellowship etc. The candidate should have a minimum of one-year experience in mammalian cell culture, animal handling and molecular biology techniques.
4. Desirable Qualifications: A minimum of one research publication in any SCIE indexed journals.
5. Salary: ₹ 31,000/- + 16% HRA per month.
6. Duration: Initial appointment will be for a period of one year and extendable till termination of the project based on performance evaluation.
Age Limit:
Below 28 years as on November 30, 2021. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
