Job Description
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant in our hotel, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests, directly impacting their overall experience and satisfaction.
Ideal candidates should have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring all guest rooms are cleaned, stocked, and ready on time.
Key Responsibilities:

Room Cleaning:
Clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash bins. -
Bathroom Maintenance:
Sanitize and clean bathroom fixtures, mirrors, countertops, and floors. Replace towels, bath mats, and amenities such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. -
Linen Management:
Change bed linens and towels in accordance with hotel policies. Report and deliver lost-and-found items to the housekeeping office. -
Stocking Supplies:
Replenish room supplies such as drinking glasses, notepads, pens, coffee/tea kits, and toiletries. Ensure minibar is restocked (if applicable). -
Guest Interaction:
Respond politely and promptly to guest requests for additional items or services. Report any guest complaints or concerns to the supervisor immediately. -
Room Inspection:
Check each room for overall cleanliness and report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the maintenance or housekeeping supervisor. -
Safety and Hygiene:
Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations, including handling chemicals and equipment safely. Use protective gear (gloves, masks, etc.) as required. -
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with other housekeeping staff, laundry team, front office, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth room turnover and guest satisfaction. -
Record Keeping:
Complete daily checklists and room status reports. Record any room discrepancies and update the front desk when rooms are ready.
