Job Description
Identify and engage with government defense labs, PSUs, and research institutions.
Develop relationships with procurement officers, technical evaluators, and decision-makers.
Tender & Procurement Handling
Work with government e-procurement platforms (GeM, e-Tenders, etc.).
Prepare and submit bids, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
Technical Consultation & Product Presentation
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Account Management & Customer Support
Ensure post-sales engagement, including training, AMC, and issue resolution.
Maintain strong relationships for repeat business opportunities.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Track industry trends, upcoming tenders, and competitor offerings.
Provide feedback for product improvements based on customer insights.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical understanding of products related to defense labs and PSUs.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Electronics or related field).
- Experience in selling to government clients (defense, PSUs).
- Knowledge of GeM portal and public sector procurement processes.
