Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Sales and Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in increasing sales and market presence by identifying new business opportunities, responding to customer enquiries, maintaining CRM records, creating quotations, and managing digital marketing campaigns. This role requires a versatile individual who is comfortable working with both traditional and digital marketing tools and has excellent communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Enquiry Handling

Proactively generate leads through cold calling, field visits, digital campaigns, online portals, and networking.

Follow up on incoming customer inquiries from multiple channels including website, phone, email, and social media.

Qualify leads based on interest, feasibility, and buying potential.

Coordinate with technical teams for site survey scheduling when required.
2. CRM Management

Update and manage the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure timely tracking of leads, opportunities, follow-ups, and customer data.

Maintain accurate and complete records of customer interactions, communication history, and follow-up status.

Monitor lead pipelines and prepare regular reports for review by management.
3. Customer Support and Relationship Building

Respond to customer queries related to products, services, installation timelines, and pricing.

Provide professional and timely support to existing and prospective clients.

Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
4. Quotation and Proposal Preparation

Prepare and send customized quotations and commercial proposals based on customer requirements using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Work closely with the technical and operations team to obtain cost estimates and finalize pricing.

Ensure timely delivery of accurate proposals and follow up for feedback or closure.
5. Digital Marketing and Online Campaigns

Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns via platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and email marketing tools.

Support SEO, SEM, and content creation for the company website and social media handles.

Monitor online traffic and lead generation metrics; suggest improvements based on analytics.

Coordinate with designers and content creators for promotional materials.
6. Sales Activities and Field Work

Participate in on-ground sales meetings, client visits, exhibitions, and promotional events when required.

Present company offerings, product demos, and solar solutions to potential customers.

Assist the sales team in achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
7. Reporting and Documentation

Maintain daily and weekly sales reports, enquiry updates, and marketing performance metrics.

Provide insights and feedback to management for improving marketing strategies and product offerings.

Ensure proper documentation of proposals, contracts, and sales records.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical & Professional Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Basic understanding of CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot).

Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or Mailchimp.

Good understanding of solar products, including on-grid/off-grid solar systems, inverters, and solar panels (training can be provided).
Soft Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

Ability to handle client objections and close sales effectively.

Willingness to travel locally for field visits and meetings.
